About the Resorts
Verbier 4 Vallées
Verbier is a celebrated destination for mountain lovers and adventure seekers alike. Known for its energetic atmosphere and access to some of the Alps’ most iconic terrain, Verbier blends natural beauty with world-class skiing and riding.
As part of the expansive 4 Vallées ski area, Verbier offers access to a vast network of runs for all levels, alongside renowned freeride zones that are marked and patrolled but left ungroomed for a more natural experience. One standout is Mont Gelé, a towering peak at 3,023 meters, offering advanced riders an unforgettable descent and panoramic views over Les Attelas.
Nendaz
Nestled on a sunny ridge above the Rhône Valley, this welcoming mountain town offers direct access to the core of the 4 Vallées, making it an ideal base for exploring the area’s vast terrain.
With its blend of modern infrastructure and traditional alpine character, Nendaz appeals to families, casual cruisers, and seasoned skiers alike. The resort connects seamlessly to over 400 kilometers of slopes, including access to some of the region’s most scenic and varied terrain. From wide, rolling pistes to off-piste routes for the more adventurous, there's something for every level.
Nendaz is also home to the legendary Plan du Fou, a freeride favorite offering dramatic descents and wide- open views. Whether you’re skiing with your family or chasing untouched snow, Nendaz delivers a balance of accessibility, adventure, and genuine alpine spirit.
Veysonnaz
Known for its sunny slopes and sweeping views over the valley below, this charming village resort combines relaxed ambiance with world-class skiing.

Thyon is especially known for being beginner-friendly, featuring one of the largest learning areas in Switzerland. With a magic carpet lift, a dedicated snow garden, and gentle slopes, it’s a perfect place for newcomers to build confidence and enjoy the snow.
La Tzoumaz
Nestled on the northern slopes of the renowned Verbier region, La Tzoumaz derives its name from the local dialect word “tzoumer,” meaning “to take a break.” True to its name, this alpine retreat offers a peaceful yet adventure-filled escape with panoramic views over the Rhône Valley.
La Tzoumaz sits at an elevation of 2,200 meters and connects directly to the expansive 4 Vallées network, offering access to over 400 km of ski terrain. The resort features 13 ski runs spanning 41 km, making it a favorite among families and winter sports enthusiasts alike.
Advanced skiers can test their skills on two competition-grade slalom stadiums, while non-skiers can explore scenic snowshoe trails or take in the alpine beauty with a forest walk. Whether you're chasing thrills or simply looking to unwind, La Tzoumaz offers a uniquely balanced mountain experience.
Bruson
Located just across the valley from Verbier, Bruson is easily accessible via an 8-seater gondola connecting Le Châble to the scenic Mayens de Bruson. Tucked within a protected nature reserve, this charming village offers a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere and consistently excellent snow conditions.
Bruson’s slopes cater to a range of skill levels, with forest-lined trails that are especially popular among freeriders seeking both adventure and natural beauty. The terrain is varied yet tranquil, making it an ideal destination for those looking to escape the bustle of larger resorts.
