How to access Resorts of the Canadian Rockies

REQUIREMENTS FOR LIFT ACCESS:
If you are skiing or snowboarding at any of the RCR resorts, you can go direct-to-lift with your Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day or Epic 4-Day Pass.

 

Which 2018-2019 Epic Season Pass products provide access to skiing and riding at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies?

The following season pass products provide access to the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, beginning with the 2018-2019 winter season:

 

Epic Pass

  •  A total of up to seven days of skiing or snowboarding at RCR with no blackout dates as part of their seven total days on the pass. After the seven days, regardless of the resort at which they were redeemed, pass holders can get 50 percent off additional lift tickets at RCR. 

Epic 7-Day Pass  

  • A total of up to seven days of skiing or snowboarding at RCR with no blackout dates as part of their seven total days on the pass. After the seven days, regardless of the resort at which they were redeemed, pass holders can get 50 percent off additional lift tickets at RCR. 

Epic 4-Day Pass

  • A total of up to seven days of skiing or snowboarding at RCR with no blackout dates as part of their seven total days on the pass. After the seven days, regardless of the resort at which they were redeemed, pass holders can get 50 percent off additional lift tickets at RCR. 

Where are the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies and what resorts are included in the benefit?

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. (RCR) is the largest private ski resort owner/operator in North America, owning six ski resorts across Canada including: Nakiska Ski Area in Alberta; Fernie Alpine Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in British Columbia and Mont-Sainte Anne and Stoneham in Quebec. 

How do I get access to ski or snowboard at RCR in the 2018-2019 season once I have purchased my Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day or Epic 4-Day Pass? Can I go directly to the lift?

Yes. If you are skiing or snowboarding at any of the RCR resorts, and you have completed your release of liability you can go direct-to-lift with your Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day or Epic 4-Day Pass.

 Are the 4 Days on the Epic 4-Day Pass and 7-Days on the Epic 7 Day Pass in addition to resort access for other resorts?

No.  Epic 7-Day Pass holders will receive up to seven days of skiing or snowboarding at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies with no blackout dates as part of their seven total days on the pass.  Epic 4-Day Pass holders will receive up to four days of skiing or snowboarding at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies with no blackout dates as part of their four total days on the pass.

 

Are there any other Vail Resorts season pass products that offer access to RCR? 

Yes, the following products also offer the same RCR access as the Epic Pass: Lifetime Pass, Trade Epic Pass, Employee Lifetime Pass. 

 

Does the Epic Local Pass have access to the RCR?

No, access is only available on the Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, and Epic 4-Day passes.

 

Do I get a discount on lift tickets at RCR resorts once I use all of my days on an Epic, Epic 7-day pass or Epic 4-day pass?

Yes.  Once the seven days have been used on your Epic Pass or Epic 7-Day Pass or the four days have been used on your Epic 4-Pay Pass, pass holders can get 50 percent off additional lift tickets at RCR.

 

Are there any lodging requirements to receive my seven days at the RCR resorts?

No

 

If I buy my season pass online, when can I expect to receive it?
For first-time Epic Season Pass holders and guests who upgraded into a new pass product, your pass will be mailed to you 7-10 business days from the time your photo upload is accepted. You may also have your photo taken and pass printed in person at a season pass office at any Vail Resorts owned and operated resort.  The release of liability must be completed and a recent photo must be added to your profile for your Season Pass to be active.


I purchased my Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, or Epic 4-Day online but have not yet received the actual pass. Can I access RCR?
 

Yes, bring your Epic Pass confirmation and photo ID to an RCR resort ticket office where you will be issued a day pass. Please note the release of liability must have been completed for your Season Pass to be active and you must have a recent photo on file.  If you have questions about your Epic Pass please call Customer Service at 970-754-0005.

 

I have not received my Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day or Epic 4-Day Pass yet. Can I get one printed at an RCR resort?

Vail Resorts season passes can only be printed at a Vail Resorts owned and operated resort. If you have questions about your Epic Pass please call Customer Service at +1-970-754-0005.  

 

Do Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, or Epic 4-Day Pass discounts (e.g., discounts on food, etc.) apply at RCR? 

No. Epic Pass product discounts are only valid at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts. 

 

I am an Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day or Epic 4-Day Pass holder. Can I use resort charge at an RCR resort?

No, Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, or Epic 4-day resort charge is only available at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.  

 

Are my Buddy Tickets on my Epic Pass and Epic Local Pass valid at an RCR resort?
Buddy Tickets are only valid at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts, not at partnership resorts.



Are my Ski With A Friend tickets on my Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, or Epic 4-Day valid at an RCR resort?

No, Epic Pass Ski With A Friend tickets will not be valid for use at an RCR resort. Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, and Epic 4-day Ski With A Friend tickets are valid at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.

 

Will EpicMix be available at any of the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies?

No. EpicMix is only available at these resorts: Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone in Colorado; Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada; Park City in Utah; Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in Tahoe; Afton Alps in Minnesota and Mt. I have a Military season pass product do I have access to Resorts of the Canadian Rockies?

No.  Military pass products do not have access at partner resorts except for A-Basin.
