REQUIREMENTS FOR LIFT ACCESS:
Epic Pass holders are required to present their valid Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass or Epic Australia Pass and a valid photo ID to the lift cashier at one of HAKUBAVALLEY’s nine resorts to redeem their five-day lift ticket.

 

Which Epic Season Pass products provide access to skiing and riding at HAKUBAVALLEY in Japan?

The following season pass products provide access to HAKUBAVALLEY:

  • Epic Pass:  A total of five consecutive days of skiing and snowboarding at HAKUBAVALLEY Japan. No blackout dates. 
  • Epic Local Pass:  A total of five consecutive days of skiing and snowboarding at HAKUBAVALLEY Japan. No blackout dates. 
  • Epic Australia Pass:  A total of five consecutive days of skiing and snowboarding at HAKUBAVALLEY Japan. No blackout dates. 

Where is HAKUBAVALLEY in Japan and what resorts are included in the benefit?
HAKUBAVALLEY is one of Japan’s largest and most renowned mountain resorts located in the northern part of the Nagano Prefecture at the base of the country’s Northern Alps.

HAKUBAVALLEY features nine resorts, including Jigatake Snow Resort, Kashimayari Ski Resort, ABLE Hakuba Goryu, Hakuba47 Winter Sports Park, Hakuba Happo-one Snow Resort, Hakuba Iwatake Snow Field, Tsugaike Mountain Resort, Hakuba Norikura Onsen Snow Resort, and Hakuba Cortina Snow Resort. The resorts offer all levels of ski and snowboard terrain with more than 140 trails and some of the longest vertical skiing in Japan, 103 lifts and abundant snowfall averaging 32 feet per season.

How do I get access to ski or snowboard at HAKUBAVALLEY once I have purchased my Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass or Epic Australia Pass?
Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, and Epic Australia Pass* holders are required to present their valid Epic Pass hard card and a valid photo ID to the lift cashier at one of HAKUBAVALLEY’s nine resorts to redeem their five-day lift ticket. *The Epic Australia Season begins in the Northern Hemisphere in November of the current year and extends through April of the next year.

If I buy my season pass online, when can I expect to receive it?
For first-time Epic Season Pass holders and guests who upgraded into a new pass product, your pass will be mailed to you 7-14 business days from the time your photo upload is accepted. You may also have your photo taken and pass printed in person at a season pass office at any Vail Resorts owned and operated resort.  The release of liability must be completed for your Season Pass to be active.


I purchased my Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, or Epic Australia Pass online but have not yet received the actual pass. Can I access HAKUBAVALLEY?

Yes, bring your Epic Pass confirmation and photo ID to a HAKUBAVALLEY resort ticket office to redeem a day pass. Please note the release of liability must have been completed for your Season Pass to be active and you must have a recent photo on file.  If you have questions about your Epic Pass please call Customer Service at 970-754-0005.

I have not received my Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass or Epic Australia Pass yet. Can I get one printed at HAKUBAVALLEY?
Vail Resorts season passes can only be printed at a Vail Resorts owned and operated resort. If you have questions about your Epic Pass or Epic Local Pass please call Customer Service at +1-970-754-0005.  If you have questions about your Epic Australia Pass please call Perisher Customer Service at 1300 588 955.

Do Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, and Epic Australia Pass discounts (e.g., discounts on food, etc.) apply at HAKUBAVALLEY?
No. Epic Pass product discounts are only valid at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts. 

I am an Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass or Epic Australia Pass holder. Can I use resort charge at HAKUBAVALLEY?
No. Epic Pass or Epic Local Pass resort charge is only available at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.  

Are my Buddy Tickets on my Epic Pass and Epic Local Pass valid at HAKUBAVALLEY?
Buddy Tickets are only valid at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts, not at partnership resorts.

Are my Ski With A Friend tickets on my Epic Pass and Epic Local Pass or Bring-A-Mate tickets on my Epic Australia Pass valid at HAKUBAVALLEY?
No, Epic Pass Ski With A Friend tickets and Epic Australia Pass Bring-A-Mate tickets will not be valid for use at HAKUBAVALLEY. Ski With A Friend and Bring-A-Mate tickets are valid at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.

Will EpicMix be available at HAKUBAVALLEY?
No. EpicMix is only available at resorts owned and operated by Vail Resorts. For a full list of resorts with EpicMix, please visit www.epicmix.com.

How many days of skiing do Epic Season Pass holders get at HAKUBAVALLEY?

Epic, Epic Local Pass, and Epic Australia Pass holders will receive five consecutive days of skiing or snowboarding at HAKUBAVALLEY, Japan with no blackout dates.

Are there any lodging requirements to receive my five days at HAKUBAVALLEY Japan?

No, there are no lodging requirements to receive your five days at HAKUBAVALLEY.

Are HAKUBAVALLEY All-Mountain Season Passes or Hakuba Valley Resort Passes eligible for any ski days at Vail Resorts ski areas?

HAKUBAVALLEY All-Mountain Season Pass holders or individual HAKUBAVALLEY Resort Pass holders will receive 50% off the current lift ticket prices at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Crested Butte in Colorado; Park City in Utah; Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in the Lake Tahoe area of California and Nevada; Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada; Stowe and Okemo in Vermont; Mt. Sunapee in New Hampshire, Stevens Pass in Washington; Wilmot Mountain in Wisconsin; Afton Alps in Minnesota; Mt. Brighton in Michigan; Hunter Mountain in New York; Attitash Mountain, Crotched Mountain and Wildcat Mountain in New Hampshire; Mount Snow in Vermont; Liberty Mountain Resort, Roundtop Mountain Resort, Whitetail Resort, Jack Frost and Big Boulder in Pennsylvania, Boston Mills, Brandywine, and Mad River Mountain in Ohio; Hidden Valley and Snow Creek in Missouri; Paoli Peaks in Indiana and Alpine Valley in Ohio; and Falls Creek, Hotham and Perisher in Australia. .

No.  Military pass products do not have access at partner resorts.
