Which Epic Season Pass products provide access to skiing and riding at Telluride Ski Resort?

The below season pass products provide access to Telluride Ski Resort:

  • Epic Pass: A total of seven days of skiing and snowboarding at Telluride Ski Resort. No restricted dates. The days do not have to be used consecutively.  Once all seven days have been redeemed, pass holders can purchase lift tickets at 50 percent off to ski or snowboard at Telluride Ski Resort.   • Epic Day Pass: Epic 4-Day Pass, Epic 5-Day Pass, Epic 6-Day Pass and Epic 7-Day Pass holders will receive up to seven days total of skiing or snowboarding at Telluride Ski Resort with no restricted dates as part of their total days. After the purchased days are used, regardless of the resort at which they were redeemed, pass holders can get 20 percent off additional lift tickets at the Telluride Ski Resort.For full access details, please visit https://www.epicpass.com/Passes/Epic-Day-Pass.

    For Epic Day Pass products with holiday restrictions, restricted dates apply across all resorts. Epic 1-Day Pass, Epic 2-Day Pass and Epic 3-Day Pass holders will not receive access to Telluride as part of their pass.

    How many days of skiing do Epic Season Pass holders get at Telluride?
    The number of days of access to Telluride varies by pass product.  Below is a breakdown of access:

  • Epic Pass: A total of seven days of skiing and snowboarding at Telluride Ski Resort. Once all seven days have been redeemed, pass holders can purchase lift tickets at 50 percent off to ski or snowboard at Telluride Ski Resort.
  • Epic Day Pass: Epic 4-Day Pass, Epic 5-Day Pass, Epic 6-Day Pass and Epic 7-Day Pass holders will receive up to seven days total of skiing or snowboarding at Telluride Ski Resort as part of their total days. After the purchased days are used, regardless of the resort at which they were redeemed, pass holders can get 20 percent off additional lift tickets at Telluride Ski Resort.

    Are there any other Vail Resorts season pass products that offer access to Telluride Ski Resort? 
    Yes, the following products also offer the same Telluride access as the Epic Pass: All Vail Resorts Club Passes, Lifetime Pass, Adaptive Full Pass, Employee Lifetime Pass and the Epic Merchant Pass. 

    Does the Epic Local Pass have access to Telluride Ski Resort?
    No, access is only available on the Epic Pass, Epic 4-Day Pass, Epic 5-Day Pass, Epic 6-Day Pass and Epic 7-Day Pass.

    Does the Military Epic Pass have access to Telluride Ski Resort?
    No, access is only available on the Epic Pass, Epic 4-Day Pass, Epic 5-Day Pass, Epic 6-Day Pass and Epic 7-Day Pass. The Military Epic Pass provides access to Vail Resorts owned resorts only.

    Which Telluride Season Pass products provide access to Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts?

    The following Telluride Ski Resort season pass holders and club members will receive 50 percent off of lift tickets at all Vail Resorts owned and operated mountain resorts.

  • Telluride Season Pass Holders (Adult, Young Adult, Children, Merchant Pass)
  • Telluride Ski & Golf Club members with full winter benefits

This discount is not valid at Sun Valley in Idaho; Snowbasin in Utah; Hakuba Valley in Japan; Rusutsu in Japan; Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, Les 3 Vallées, 4 Vallées in Switzerland; and Skirama Dolomiti in Italy or any other partner resort that is not owned and operated by Vail Resorts.


Where can I purchase an Epic Pass or Epic Day Pass?

If I buy my season pass online, when can I expect to receive it?
Congrats on your new pass! For first-time Epic Season Pass holders, your pass will be mailed to you 7-10 business days from the time your photo upload is accepted. You may also have your photo taken and pass printed in person at a season pass office at any Vail Resorts owned and operated resort.  The release of liability must be completed for your Season Pass to be active.

I purchased my Epic Pass online but have not yet received the actual pass. Can I access Telluride Ski Resort? 

Epic Pass guests may print or reprint their Epic Pass media at Telluride Sports in two convenient locations - Camel's Garden at the base of the Free Gondola Telluride & Franz Klammer in Mountain Village's Heritage Plaza. The release of liability must have been completed for your Season Pass to be active and you must have a recent photo on file.  If you have questions about your Epic Pass please call Customer Service at 970-754-0005.  

I have not received my Epic Pass or Epic Day Pass yet.  Can I get one printed at Telluride?
Epic Pass guests may print or reprint their Epic Pass media at Telluride Sports in two convenient locations - Camel's Garden at the base of the Free Gondola Telluride & Franz Klammer in Mountain Village's Heritage Plaza. Passes will not be active until the following day.

For same day lift access bring your Epic Pass confirmation and photo ID to a Telluride Pass Office and you will be issued a day pass. The release of liability must have been completed for your Season Pass to be active and you must have a recent photo on file. How do I get access to ski or snowboard at Telluride once I have purchased my Epic Pass or Epic Day Pass?  Can I go directly to the lift?
Once you have received your Epic Pass or Epic Day Pass, you can go direct-to-lift at Telluride. Please note the release of liability must be completed for your Season Pass to be active.

If I have a Telluride Season Pass or am a Telluride Ski & Golf Club member with full winter benefits, how do I receive my discounted lift tickets for Vail Resorts owned resorts? 
Telluride Season Pass holders and Club members with full winter benefits visiting a Vail Resorts owned resort must bring their Telluride Pass and a photo ID to a Vail Resorts Pass Office to purchase a discounted lift ticket.

Do Epic Pass holder discounts (e.g., discounts on food, etc.) apply at Telluride Ski Resort? 

No, the Epic Pass and Epic Day Pass discounts are only valid at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts. 

Do the discounts (e.g., discounts on food, etc.) for Telluride Season Pass holders or Telluride Ski & Golf Club members with full winter benefits apply at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts?
No, the discounts for Telluride Season Pass and Club members with full winter benefits are only valid at Telluride Ski Resort. 

Do Epic Pass holders get summer lift access at Telluride Ski Resort? 
No, Epic Pass holder summer benefits are only valid at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts. 

Do Telluride Season Pass Plus holders or Telluride Ski & Golf Club Platinum winter members get summer lift access at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts?

No, summer benefits for Telluride Season Pass Plus and Platinum Club winter member discounts are only valid at Telluride Ski Resort.

What is the refund policy for Epic Pass and other season pass products?
New for the 2020/21 season, Epic Coverage is included FREE for all pass holders, and provides refunds associated with certain personal events, including illness, job loss, and injury. It also expands coverage to protect you from certain resort closures, such as any due to COVID-19. Please refer to the Epic Coverage Terms and Conditions which are available for viewing or downloading here.

Can I still purchase Pass Insurance? 
No, Vail Resorts no longer offers Pass Insurance. Epic Coverage provides refunds for qualifying personal events as well as certain resort closures due to disease (e.g. COVID-19), war, terrorism, or specific natural disasters. And it’s free for all pass holders. 


What happens if I already purchased Pass Insurance for the 2020/21 season? 
Refunds for pass insurance were issued on June 17, 2020. If you did not receive a refund, this could be due to an invalid credit card on file. Please contact our call center for support via chat or by phone at (970) 754-0005 for help. 

If a partner resort experiences a resort closure, is it covered under Epic Coverage? 
No, partner resorts are excluded from Epic Coverage. Epic Coverage only applies to Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts. Partner resorts, including but not limited to Telluride, Sun Valley, Snowbasin, Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, Hakuba Valley, Rusutsu, Skirama Dolomiti, Les 3 Vallées, 4 Vallées, and Arlberg, are excluded from Epic Coverage. Please visit www.epicpass.com/region/partners for a full list of partner resorts. 

It is important to note that days skied or ridden at partner resorts on your pass do count towards your total number of days skied or ridden in the determination of your refund. 


Does the use of my pass at a Partner Resort impact my refund eligibility with Epic Coverage?  
The use of your pass at a Partner Resort will count towards the number of days you have used your pass for purposes of determining the amount of any refund to which you may be eligible. Only closures of resorts owned and operated by Vail Resorts are covered by EPIC Coverage. EPIC Coverage does not provide refunds for any Partner Resort closures. How does the Auto Renew program work? 
Auto Renew is the most convenient way to automatically renew your season pass every year, while guaranteeing next season’s lowest price and the best benefits. When you sign-up for Auto Renew you will be charged $49 up front in August and the balance in September. If you sign up for the auto-renew program this season, your pass will automatically renew next year for the 2021-2022 season unless you withdraw from the program before the initial charge. I am an Epic Pass or Epic Day Pass holder.  Can I use resort charge at Telluride Ski Resort?
No, Epic Pass or Epic Day Pass resort charge is only available at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.  

Are my Buddy Tickets on my Epic Pass valid at Telluride?
No, Epic Pass Buddy Tickets will not be valid for use at Telluride. Buddy Tickets are only valid at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.

Are my Ski With A Friend tickets on my Epic Pass valid at Telluride Ski Resort?
No. Ski With A Friend tickets will not be valid for use at Telluride Ski Resort. Epic Pass Ski With A Friend tickets are only valid at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.

Will EpicMix be available at Telluride?

No. EpicMix is only available at resorts owned and operated by Vail Resorts. For a full list of resorts with EpicMix, please visit www.epicmix.com.

 

 

CHANGING OR UPGRADING PRODUCTS

 
If I purchased an Epic Season Pass product and would like to upgrade my season pass, will I be allowed to change products?

Yes, if you decide to upgrade your Epic Season Pass product, while passes are still on sale, you can. You will pay the current Epic Pass price at the time of upgrade. To upgrade, please call Customer Service at +1-970-754-0005
