What is Epic Mountain Rewards?

Epic Mountain Rewards is a loyalty program that gives Pass Holders a discount of 20% off food and beverage, lodging, group ski and ride school lessons, and equipment rentals at dozens of Vail Resorts destinations across North America, as well as Epic Mountain Express transportation in Colorado, and Heli-Skiing packages at Whistler Blackcomb. Additionally, as part of Epic Mountain Rewards, Pass Holders can redeem one free wax and 50% off one basic tune per season at select U.S. locations.  

Epic Mountain Rewards is available to anyone who purchases an Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic Day Pass, Epic Military Pass, Epic Australia Pass, and many of our other Pass products, regardless of whether a guest plans to ski one day or every day of the season.  

This loyalty program is simple for the guest – no sign up, no point tracking, and no restricted days for the discounts. Pass Holders can receive the 20% savings by presenting their pass at the register, logging into their account to book online, or by verifying their pass number when calling our lodging reservation center at (800) 404-3535. In addition to the significant discount already offered by purchasing a pass product, a family of four can now save hundreds of dollars per day on food, lodging, lessons, rentals and transportation. 2025/26 Pass Holders can use their Epic Mountain Rewards through the end of May 2026.  
2026/27 Pass Holders can begin redeeming summer discounts beginning May 1, 2026 and can begin redeeming winter discounts when those products and services become available for reservation for the 2026/27 winter season. Check our website for updates. 

Epic Australia Pass Holders receive Epic Mountain Rewards when visiting our North American resorts in the summer and winter seasons. 2026 Epic Australia Pass Holders can use their Epic Mountain Rewards in North America during the 2026 summer season and the 2026/27 winter season.

Can I start using my Epic Mountain Rewards benefits right after I purchase my season pass for the 2026/27 season?

2026/27 Pass Holders can begin redeeming summer discounts beginning May 1, 2026. Pass Holders can begin redeeming winter discounts when products like lodging, equipment rental and lessons become available for the 2026/27 winter season. Please check our website for updates. 

 

What are the benefits included in Epic Mountain Rewards?

What passes include access to Epic Mountain Rewards?

Do Epic Mountain Rewards have restricted dates?

No, Epic Mountain Rewards can be used throughout the entire ski season. Pass Holders may still have Restricted Peak Dates for lift access based on the Pass they purchased, but they can redeem Epic Mountain Rewards discounts anytime throughout the season.

 

Will season Pass Holders receive any summer benefits with Epic Mountain Rewards?

2025/26 Pass Holders can use their Epic Mountain Rewards through the end of May 2026.

How do I join Epic Mountain Rewards?

Pass Holders are automatically enrolled in Epic Mountain Rewards when they purchase an eligible pass. The program is simple - no sign up and no points to redeem. Pass holders can receive the 20% savings by presenting their pass at the register, logging into their account to book online, or by verifying their pass number when calling our reservation center at (800) 404-3535.

 

Can I sign up for Epic Mountain Rewards without purchasing a pass product?

No, Epic Mountain Rewards is only available to those who purchase an eligible pass.

 

Do I need my pass or pass number to use my discounts?

Pass Holders will need to present their pass when redeeming a discount in person, log into their account when booking online, or provide their pass number when booking over the phone. If a guest has not yet received their pass, they can log into their account or call our call center to book products using the 20% discount. If a guest has not received their pass before they arrive at a resort, they can get their pass printed at any season pass office or use mobile pass in the My Epic app. Please note that a $5 printing fee may apply. Where can I redeem my Epic Mountain Rewards?

 Eligible resorts include: 

• Rocky Mountains: Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Crested Butte, Park City
• West: Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, Stevens Pass
• Canada: Whistler Blackcomb
• Northeast: Stowe, Okemo, Mount Sunapee, Wildcat, Attitash, Crotched, Mount Snow, Hunter, Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Liberty, Whitetail, Roundtop, Seven Springs, Hidden Valley (PA), Laurel Mountain
• Midwest: Afton Alps, Mt. Brighton, Wilmot, Mad River, Snow Creek, Hidden Valley (MO), Paoli Peaks, Alpine Valley, Boston Mills, Brandywine

Vail Resorts destinations in Australia (Perisher, Falls Creek, Hotham) and Switzerland (Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis and Crans-Montana) do not offer any Epic Mountain Rewards discounts.

However, Epic Pass and Epic Military Pass guests do have access to the following benefits in our Australian resorts:

• 20% off private and group lessons when booked online and in advance
• 20% off rentals when booked online and in advance
• 15% off retail (at owned outlets in Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham)*
• Up to 15% off food and beverage (at select outlets in Perisher and Hotham)*
• 15% off accommodation at The Station in Jindabyne
• Free Night Skiing (on select nights at Perisher, Falls Creek and Hotham)
• Free First Tracks (on select lifts and days of the season from 7:30am at Perisher and Hotham)

Can I redeem my Epic Mountain Rewards at Vail Resorts' partner resorts?

No, Epic Mountain Rewards are not currently available at Vail Resorts’ partner resorts. Vail Resorts is partnered with the following resorts where Epic Mountain Rewards cannot be redeemed: 

• United States: Telluride
• Canada: Nakiska Ski Area, Fernie Alpine Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, Stoneham, Mont-Sainte Anne

Can I use my Epic Mountain Rewards discounts for other people?

Pass Holders can use the Epic Mountain Rewards benefit of 20% off food and beverage (discount applies to total spend of up to $150 per day) with whomever they choose. All other Epic Mountain Rewards benefits are available only for Pass Holders, including the discounts of 20% off lodging, group ski and ride school lessons, equipment rental, Epic Mountain Express transportation, and heli-skiing at Whistler Blackcomb. Additionally, only Pass Holders are eligible to redeem one free wax and one 50% off tune per season at select locations. Does the Epic Day Pass qualify for Epic Mountain Rewards?

Yes, the Epic Day Pass qualifies for Epic Mountain Rewards. Epic Day Pass Holders will be eligible to use their 20% discounts all season long. Do pass products specific to Whistler Blackcomb include Epic Mountain Rewards?

No, currently the pass products specific to Whistler Blackcomb (Whistler Blackcomb Unlimited Season Pass, EDGE Cards, and the Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass) do not include Epic Mountain Rewards. However, guests with an Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic Day Pass or a Military Epic Pass do receive Epic Mountain Rewards at Whistler Blackcomb. Guests who are interested in skiing and riding exclusively at Whistler Blackcomb also have the choice of a Whistler Blackcomb Unlimited Season Pass which has its own attractive benefits at Whistler Blackcomb. EDGE Cards – which provide deeply discounted days at Whistler Blackcomb for residents of Canada and Washington State, also have their own unique benefits. The Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass product, which is sold in Canadian dollars, is up to 50% off as compared to window lift tickets and is ideal for skiers and riders who may not need the unlimited access offered on a traditional Season Pass, but does not include additional perks or discounts on other services like Epic Mountain Rewards..

If my child is enrolled in the free Epic School Kids Program, do they receive Epic Mountain Rewards?

No. Epic School Kids is a free program for Kindergarten through 5th graders that provides free skiing in Colorado, Utah, and Whistler Blackcomb and does not include Epic Mountain Rewards. The Epic School Kids program does include a free first-timer lesson and rental package. If your child is a Pass Holder, they will receive Epic Mountain Rewards. Yes, the Pass Holder must present their eligible pass to receive the 20% discount on food and beverage at the time of checkout.

 

Does my 20% discount apply to alcohol?

No, the 20% discount applies on all food and non-alcoholic beverages only.

 

Are there restrictions on my Epic Mountain Rewards Food and Beverage discount?

The 20% Epic Mountain Rewards discount on food and beverage can be redeemed at quick-service, on-mountain restaurants, and the discount applies to total spend of up to $150 per day. The discount is not valid at fine dining restaurants, private clubs, and village restaurants or on alcoholic beverages. The Pass Holder must present their pass in order to receive the 20% discount. The discount is only valid on any food and beverage purchased directly at one of the eligible Vail Resorts, Inc quick-service, on-mountain restaurants; the discount is not valid on any food packages sold by 3rd parties or as part of group discounts.

Where does Epic Mountain Express operate?

Epic Mountain Express offers frequent airport shuttles from Denver International Airport and Eagle County (Vail) Regional Airport to the mountain resorts of Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail and Beaver Creek. The following Epic Mountain Express products are eligible for the 20% Epic Mountain Rewards discount: YourRIDE and YourRIDE+ private shuttles to/from Eagle and Summit County, PremierBLACK Private SUVs to/from Eagle and Summit County, and scheduled, shared shuttle services to/from Eagle and Summit County.
