No, in order to help you stay safe, we are only selling lift tickets in advance and online this season. To purchase Buddy or Ski With A Friend tickets, a Pass Holder must navigate to “My Account” at EpicPass.com and select the specific day and resort for use. The Pass Holder must be present with their pass to pick up tickets at the window.
Yes, pass holders must be present and display their pass in order to pick-up a Ski with a Friend or Buddy Ticket. 
Yes, pending availability, you may purchase Ski With A Friend or Buddy Tickets for same-day use. To purchase your discounted tickets, a Pass Holder must purchase the ticket in their “My Account” at EpicPass.com to select the specific day and resort for use. The Pass Holder must be present with their pass to pick up tickets at the window.
In order to make sure you secure a Ski With a Friend or Buddy Ticket the same day as your reservation, first log into your account and reserve your desired date. Then, in order to purchase your discounted tickets, the Pass Holder must purchase the ticket in their “My Account” at EpicPass.com to select the specific day and resort. The Pass Holder must be present with their pass to pick up tickets at the window. Lift tickets are limited this season, so lock in your days early to secure your spot on the mountain.
Buddy and Ski with a Friend tickets can only be used at our 34 owned and operated North American resorts. They cannot be used at any of our partner resorts.

Anyone! Pass Holders can purchase discounted tickets for friends and family or they can use them for themselves on days where their pass is blacked out or at resorts where their pass does not have access.

Buddy tickets are only offered to guests who purchased their eligible ski pass prior to the 5/31 pass deadline. Passes purchased before the deadline that are not eligible for Buddy Tickets include: Epic Day Pass, Keystone Crested Butte 4-pack, Park City 4-pack, Stevens Pass Powder Pack 4-pack, Stevens Pass Powder Pack 6-pack, Whistler Blackcomb Pass Products and Epic SchoolKids. For detailed information on all passes with Buddy Tickets, click here.   • Q: Is my lift ticket refundable?   
    A: We know there’s a lot of uncertainty in the world right now, so if your plans change, your lift ticket is refundable (terms apply). If you have not used your lift tickets, they are fully refundable until 12 PM local time (at the applicable resort) on your ticket’s start date. Refund requests received after 12 PM local time on your ticket’s start date will not be honored, except in certain circumstances (see terms for full details

  • Q: How do I request a refund?  
    A:
    To request a refund, you need to: 
    • Submit an online request form no later than 12 PM on your ticket’s start date. Please visit the resort website for which your lift ticket provides access.  
    • Visit the resort ticket window by no later than 12 PM on your ticket’s start date 

  • Q: What if Vail Resorts closes a resort or cancels my ticket due to Covid-19 - how will refunds be handled?   
    A:
    Your safety is our priority, and it is possible that we will have to cancel your ticket due to Covid-19.   

    In the event that we make the difficult decision to close a resort or cancel your ticket, we will make every effort to do so in advance of your visit, and we will issue you a full or partial refund depending on the number of lift ticket days affected. In the event of a resort closure or ticket cancellation, we will make every effort to notify you directly by email. We encourage you to also check the relevant resort website, Facebook page, or Instagram account for notifications. While we will do our best to issue your refund promptly, we cannot guarantee that your refund will be processed within a specified period of time (see terms for full details). 

  • Q: What if I am injured or fall sick – can I request a refund?  
    A: 
    Unused lift tickets are fully refundable until 12 PM on your ticket’s start date. However, even if you have used your lift ticket, if you become sick or injured, you are eligible for a full or partial refund if requested by 12 PM local time. 

    To request a refund for injury or illness, you need to: 
    • Submit an online request form no later than 12 PM on your ticket’s start date. Please visit the resort website for which your lift ticket provides access.
    • Visit the resort ticket window by no later than 12 PM on your ticket’s start date  

    Reminder: You should not come to the resort if you: (i) are experiencing signs and symptoms of COVID-19 not due to a known health condition, (ii) tested positive or were diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 10 days, (iii) have been directed by public health or a medical provider to quarantine or isolate, or (iv) have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 (see CDC guidelines).
