Jigatake Snow Resort

Located on the southern edge of Hakuba Valley, Jigatake Snow Resort is a serene, family-friendly resort ideal for beginners. Its seven wide, gentle runs offer a relaxed environment to build skills away from the crowds. The Toroika lift caters to small children and offers sledding as well! For more adventurous skiers, tree runs at the summit provide a scenic challenge.

White Resort

Set among forests with views of Lake Aoki and the surrounding mountains, White Resort is a a true haven for winter enthusiasts. Slopes range from gentle to moderate, suiting a variety of skill levels.  High-quality snow and an open, uncrowded feel make for an unforgettable experience in a stunning natural setting.

Hakuba 47

The freestyle hub of Hakuba Valley, Hakuba 47 boasts a top-tier snow park with kickers, jumps, and a range of creative features for skiers and snowboarders alike. The lively atmosphere makes it a great place to meet new park friends and watch others showcase their skills. From the mountain summit, you can also access Hakuba Goryu, so you can hit two resorts in one day!

Hakuba Iwatake

Hop on a gondola to the summit of Iwatake, where 360° views of the Hakuba mountain range set the scene. Wide, gentle slopes sit alongside more challenging runs, catering to all ability levels. The resort is well known for its snow park and cross-country trails, with reliable conditions throughout the season. Non-skiers can also enjoy the gondola and 5-sen South lift for sightseeing.

Norikura Onsen

At the northernmost edge of the North Alps, a breathtaking viewpoint opens up to a romantic, almost private resort setting — perfect for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty. Gentle, wide runs suit families and beginners, while a steep 38° course challenges advanced skiers and riders. Guests can also try snow scoot, telemark skiing, and snowshoeing for a different take on the mountain.

Kashimayari

A winter theme park at heart, Kashimayari is designed for families and first-timers looking to enjoy the snow in a safe, welcoming environment. Beginner-friendly attractions make ski debuts fun and stress-free — perfect for young children taking their first steps on the slopes. The standout feature is a 150-meter snow tubing park complete with a snow escalator: the "Pokémon Snow Adventure."

ABLE Hakuba GORYU

ABLE Hakuba Goryu Snow Resort features three distinct ski areas: Alps-daira, Toomi, and Iimori. The Alps-daira slope stands out for its extended season, staying open until the end of Golden Week, and for its panoramic views of the Northern Alps. For beginners, kids, and families, the Toomi and Iimori slopes provide gentle terrain and a welcoming atmosphere.

Happo-One

For those who love long, uninterrupted runs, Happo delivers with courses stretching up to 8,000 meters, offering exhilaration from summit to base. And with with a staggering 1,071m vertical drop, Happo boasts some of the steepest pistes in Hakuba Valley. Whether you’re a beginner finding your rhythm or an advanced skier seeking a challenge, the resort’s big- scale terrain promises something for everyone.

Tsugaike

Tsugaike Snow Resort is a winter paradise with abundant snowfall and stunning mountain scenery. Known for its wide 1,200-meter slopes, this resort's spacious and welcoming environment is ideal for families and beginners. Take a ride on the 4,000-meter gondola for some of the best views in the region. Spanning approximately 5 km, the gondola's panoramic views are an unforgettable experience.

Cortina Snow Resort

Cortina records the highest annual snowfall in Hakuba Valley, making it the top destination for powder seekers. Exceptional tree skiing under pristine conditions adds to its reputation as one of the valley's most coveted resorts. After a day on the slopes, guests can unwind in the onsen, dine on Japanese or Italian cuisine, or grab a quick bite — all without leaving the resort.

The Omachi area offers a wide variety of hot springs across Takase Valley, the Omachi Onsenkyo area, and the neighborhood surrounding Lake Kizaki. The Hakuba area boasts an abundance of restorative baths and footbaths sourced by six different springs. In Otari, experience everything from luxurious hotel spas to secluded hot springs nestled deep in the mountains.

Getting to Hakuba Valley

With non-stop flights between Tokyo’s Haneda and Narita International airports and major cities in the U.S. and Canada, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, New York and Vancouver, as well as from Australia, it’s never been easier for Epic Pass Holders to take a Japanese ski vacation. Take a ride on Japan’s Shinkansen bullet train from Tokyo to access Hakuba Valley in under three hours.

Bring your physical Epic Pass card and a valid photo ID to Hakuba Valley. When you arrive, present your Epic Pass or Epic Local Pass at any Hakuba Valley ticket window to receive your five consecutive, complimentary Lift Tickets.

Does my Epic Pass include benefits at Hakuba Valley?

EpicEpic Local and Epic Australia Pass Holders receive five complimentary and consecutive days of skiing and riding at Hakuba Valley resorts. Military Epic Pass and Epic Day Passes do not include access to Hakuba Valley resorts.

How do Epic Pass Holders redeem benefits at Hakuba Valley?

Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, and Epic Australia Pass Holders must present their valid Epic Pass card or mobile pass in the My Epic app and photo ID at a Hakuba Valley ticket window to validate access and receive their five-day lift ticket.

 

Is there a hotel or lodging requirement to receive benefits at Hakuba Valley?

No. There is no lodging requirement to receive your five complimentary days of skiing and riding at Hakuba Valley. 

 

Do Hakuba Valley Pass Holders receive benefits at Vail Resorts?

Hakuba Valley All-Mountain Season Pass Holders and individual Hakuba Valley Resort Pass Holders are eligible to receive 50% off the current one-day window lift ticket prices at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts in North America and Australia.

Are Epic Friend and Bring-A-Mate tickets valid at partner resorts?

No, Epic Friend, and Bring-A-Mate tickets cannot be redeemed at partner resorts; these benefit tickets can only be used at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts in North America (for Epic Friend) or Australia (for Bring-A-Mate).

I forgot, lost or did not receive my physical Epic Pass card. Can I have one printed at the partner resort?

No. Physical Epic Passes can only be printed at a Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts in North America, with the exception of Telluride. Please bring a valid photo ID and proof of active pass with you. Please note that a $5 printing fee may apply. Learn more. Proof of active pass may include a valid pass in the My Epic app, confirmation email, pass number or screenshot of your active pass in My Account.

If necessary, Epic Pass Holders may print or reprint their Epic Pass card at Mountain Village ticket windows in Heritage Plaza at Telluride.

Does Epic Day Pass include access to Partner resorts?

Pass Holders with Epic 4-Day, 5-Day, 6-Day and 7-Day Passes with All Resorts Access have access to Telluride in Colorado and the six (6) Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. Peak date restrictions also apply at partner resorts for pass holders with a restricted Epic Day Pass. Access to European and Japanese partner resorts is not currently included on any Epic Day Pass product.

All Epic 1-3 Day Passes and Epic 4-7 Day Passes with Limited Access (32 or 22 resorts) do not include access to any partner resorts.

 

Does my Military Pass include partner access?

No. Military Pass Holders do not receive access to our partner resorts.

 

What do I need to bring with me to visit a partner resort?

Please bring your physical Epic Pass card to provide proof of active pass and a valid photo ID with you when visiting a Partner Resort. Should you not have a physical Epic Pass card, additional proof of active pass may include a valid pass in My Epic app, confirmation email, pass number or screenshot of your active pass in My Account.

If you are visiting Telluride or the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies (Fernie Alpine Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort, Nakiska Ski Area, Mont-Sainte-Anne and Stoneham Mountain Resort), you can go direct to lift with your valid physical Epic Pass card. Please note, mobile pass in the My Epic app cannot be used for direct to lift access at Telluride or Resorts of the Canadian Rockies.
