WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Thanks to continued improvement in COVID-19 cases, proof of vaccination is no longer required for guests to dine at our indoor cafeteria-style restaurants, effective Saturday, Mar. 12, 2022. Additionally, face coverings are no longer required to be worn by guests indoors or on gondolas. However, face coverings are still required on buses and shuttles based on guidance from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
All of our policies are subject to change based on the evolving nature of the pandemic as well as federal, state, and local public health guidelines.

Will Vail Resorts require indoor face coverings this season?
No. Face coverings are no longer required in gondolas or indoor spaces at this time, unless required by local public health or CDC designation. This includes restaurants, lodging properties, restrooms, retail and rental locations, base areas, buses and shuttles.

Will you adjust this policy if the situation with COVID-19 changes?
All of our COVID-19 safety protocols are subject to change, however, this is our current policy.
Are you requiring your staff to be vaccinated?
Yes. Vail Resorts requires all employees to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
Will Vail Resorts require proof of vaccination to enter or dine at restaurants?
No. As of March 12, we do not require proof of vaccination for guests to access any area of the resort, including dining and ski and ride school.
Are you requiring your staff to be vaccinated?

Are employees still required to do health screenings?
Yes, at all of our resorts, employees are still required to complete daily health screenings before coming onsite to work.
What if an employee tests positive for COVID-19?
Any employee who tests positive for COVID-19, will not be permitted to work, will follow applicable quarantine/isolation protocols, and will be eligible for Emergency Sick Leave as applicable.
COVID-19
Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present. The resort has implemented protocols to prioritize guest health and safety, but we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit. The risk of being exposed or becoming sick due to COVID-19 cannot be eliminated. Every skier and rider shares the responsibility for a safe and healthy skiing experience. It is your responsibility to read and comply with all instructions and signage posted at the resort and on the resort’s website. Stay home if you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Wear a face covering in designated areas and maintain at least 6 feet physical distancing from other guests when possible. Wash and sanitize your hands frequently.
