Which 2018-2019 Epic Season Pass products provide access to skiing and riding at Sun Valley and Snowbasin?

No, Epic Pass Products will not offer access to Sun Valley or Snowbasin for the 2018-19 season. The partnership access will start for the 2019-20 season and will have limited access on the Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic 7 Day, and Epic 4 Day passes.

 

Which 2019-2020 Epic Season Pass products provide access to skiing and riding at Sun Valley and Snowbasin?

There are four season pass products that provide access to Sun Valley and Snowbasin, beginning with the 2019-20 winter season:

 

Epic Pass

  • NEW for the 2019-20 season:
    • Epic Pass holders will receive seven days of skiing or snowboarding with no blackout dates at both Sun Valley and Snowbasin and 50 percent off of one-day window lift ticket prices after their respective days have been redeemed.
    • Five consecutive days of skiing or snowboarding at Rusutsu Resort with no blackout dates
  • The Epic Pass offers world-class access including unlimited, unrestricted skiing and riding at Vail, Beaver Creek, Whistler Blackcomb, Breckenridge and limited day access to several resort partners, including Telluride, Fernie, Kicking Horse, and more. Epic Local Pass

  • NEW for the 2019-20 season:
    • Epic Pass holders will receive two days of skiing or snowboarding with no blackout dates at both Sun Valley and Snowbasin and 50 percent off of one-day window lift ticket prices after their respective days have been redeemed.
    • Five consecutive days of skiing or snowboarding at Rusutsu Resort with no blackout dates
  • Guests receive unlimited, unrestricted access to Breckenridge, Keystone, Crested Butte and more, with limited restrictions at Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, and Stowe, plus a combined total of 10 days at Vail, Beaver Creek, and Whistler Blackcomb with holiday restrictions and five total consecutive days with no blackout dates at Hakuba Valley, Japan.

Epic 7-Day Pass

  • NEW for the 2019-20 season:
    • Epic 7-Day Pass holders will receive up to seven days of skiing or snowboarding at both Sun Valley and Snowbasin, with no blackout dates, as part of their seven total days on the pass, beginning with the 2019-20 winter season. After the seven days, regardless of the resort at which they were redeemed, pass holders will receive 50 percent off of one-day lift ticket prices at both Sun Valley and Snowbasin.
  • The Epic 7-Day Pass features a total of seven days with no blackout dates at Vail, Beaver Creek, Whistler Blackcomb, Breckenridge and more, plus seven additional free days at Afton Alps, Mt. Brighton or Wilmot Mountain.

Epic 4-Day Pass

  • NEW for the 2019-20 season:
    • Epic 4-Day Pass holders will receive up to four days of skiing or snowboarding at both Sun Valley and Snowbasin, with minimal restrictions, as part of their four total days on the pass, beginning with the 2019-20 winter season. After the four days, regardless of the resort at which they were redeemed, pass holders will receive 50 percent off of one-day lift ticket prices at both Sun Valley and Snowbasin.
  • The Epic 4-Day Pass features a total of four days with no blackout dates at Vail, Beaver Creek, Whistler Blackcomb, Breckenridge and more, plus four additional free days at Afton Alps, Mt. Brighton or WilmotMountain.

When can I buy by 2019-20 season pass?
2019-20 Epic Season Pass products will go on sale in spring 2019.

How do I get access to ski or snowboard at Sun Valley or Snowbasin in 2019-20 season once I have purchased my Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic 7-Day or Epic 4-Day?
If you are skiing or snowboarding at either Sun Valley or Snowbasin, you can go direct-to-lift with your Epic Pass starting in the 2019-20 ski season.

Are there any other Vail Resorts season pass products that offer access to Sun Valley and Snowbasin Resorts? 
Yes, the following products also offer the same Sun Valley and Snowbasin access as the Epic Pass: All Vail Resorts Club Passes, Lifetime Pass, Adaptive Full Pass, Employee Lifetime Pass and the Epic Merchant Pass. 

Does my Military Pass provide access to Sun Valley or Snowbasin?
No, Military Pass Products will not offer access to Sun Valley or Snowbasin, or any other partner resorts, for the 2019-20 season. 

Which 2019-20 Sun Valley or Snowbasin Season Pass products provide access to Vail Resorts owned and operated destinations?
Sun Valley Challenger season pass holders & Snowbasin Premier season pass holders will receive 50 percent off of one-day lift ticket prices at all Vail Resorts owned and operated mountain resorts. This discount is not valid at Telluride, Hakuba Valley or Rusutsu in Japan, Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, Les 3 Vallées, Paradiski and Tignes-Val D’Isere in France; 4 Vallées in Switzerland; Arlberg in Austria and Skirama Dolomiti in Italy or any other partner resort. 

Where can I purchase an Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day or Epic 4-Day Pass?

www.epicpass.com to see the current season pass offerings and prices. Passes usually go on sale in early to mid-March.

If I buy my season pass online, when can I expect to receive it?
For first-time Epic Season Pass holders, your pass will be mailed to you 7-10 business days from the time your photo upload is accepted, or in early to mid-Summer 2019. You may also have your photo taken and pass printed in person at a season pass office at any Vail Resorts owned and operated resort. The release of liability must be completed for your Season Pass to be active.

I have not received my Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic 7-Day, or Epic 4-Day pass yet.  Can I get one printed at Sun Valley or Snowbasin?
No, passes can only be printed at a Vail Resorts owned and operated resort.

If I have a Sun Valley Challenger Season Pass, Young Adult Challenger or Snowbasin Premier Season Pass with full winter benefits, how do I receive my discounted lift tickets for Vail Resorts owned resorts? 
Sun Valley Challenger pass holders, Young Adult Challenger pass holders or Snowbasin Premier pass holders with full winter benefits visiting a Vail Resorts owned and operate resort must bring their respective pass to a Vail Resorts Pass Office to purchase a discounted lift ticket.

Do Epic Pass holder discounts (e.g., discounts on food, etc.) apply at Sun Valley or Snowbasin Ski Resorts? 

No, the Epic Pass discounts are only valid at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts. 

Do the discounts (e.g., discounts on food, etc.) for Sun Valley Challenger season pass, Young Adult Challenger season pass or Snowbasin Resort Premier season pass holders apply at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts?
No, the discounts for Sun Valley Challenger season passes, Young Adult Challenger season passes or Snowbasin Premier season passes are only valid at those respective resorts.

Do Epic Pass holders get summer lift access at Sun Valley or Snowbasin? 
No, Epic Pass holder summer benefits are only valid at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts. 

Do Sun Valley Challenger season pass holders, Young Adult season pass holders or Snowbasin Premier season pass holders get summer lift access at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts?

No, summer benefits for Sun Valley or Snowbasin season passes with summer benefits are only valid at those respective resorts. 

What is the refund policy for Epic Pass and other season pass products?
All Vail Resorts season passes are non-transferrable and non-refundable.

How does the season pass insurance work for the Epic Pass and other products sold on EpicPass.com?
All season passes are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Season pass refunds are available only when a guest purchased season pass insurance and has a valid claim under the insurance policy. Any refund is based on the cost of the season pass minus a daily rate for every day used up to the face value of the season pass. For more information please visit snow.com/pass insurance.

How does the Auto Renew program work?
Auto Renew is the most convenient way to automatically renew your season pass every year, while guaranteeing next season’s lowest price and the best benefits. When you sign-up for Auto Renew you will be charged $49 up front in mid-March and the balance in mid-September. If you sign up for the auto-renew program this season, your pass will automatically renew next March for the 2020-2021 season unless you withdraw from the program before the initial charge. I am an Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic 7 Day or Epic 4 Day pass holder.  Can I use resort charge at Sun Valley or Snowbasin Ski Resorts?
No, Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic 7 day and Epic 4 Day resort charge is only available at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.  

What are Buddy Tickets?
Buddy Tickets are discounted, single-day lift tickets set at a flat rate. Not all season passes are loaded with Buddy Tickets. 

Are my Buddy Tickets on my Epic Pass valid at Sun Valley or Snowbasin Ski Resorts?
No, Epic Pass Buddy Tickets will not be valid for use at Sun Valley or Snowbasin Ski Resorts. Buddy Tickets will be valid at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.

What are Ski With A Friend tickets and how many do I receive?
As a valued season pass holder, most season passes will come with six discounted, single- day lift tickets loaded onto your season pass for friends and family to use. Ski With A Friend tickets vary in price based on the date you plan to visit and can be purchased at the lift ticket window. The season pass holder must be present at the time of purchase.

Are my Ski With A Friend tickets on my Epic Pass valid at Sun Valley or Snowbasin Ski Resorts?
No, Epic Pass Ski With A Friend tickets will not be valid for use at Sun Valley or Snowbasin Ski Resorts. Epic Pass Ski With A Friend tickets will be valid at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.

Does the Epic Pass have access to resorts in Europe?
Yes, The Epic Pass also grants 26 days of European access across Les 3 Vallées, Paradiski and Tignes-Val D’Isere in France; 4 Vallées in Switzerland; Arlberg in Austria and Skirama Dolomiti in Italy. Please visit

Are Sun Valley and Snowbasin a part of the Mountain Collective™ Pass?
Mountain Collective™ pass holders will continue to have access to Sun Valley and Snowbasin Resorts during the remainder of the 2018-2019 ski season. Beginning with the 2019-2020 ski season, however, both Sun Valley and Snowbasin will no longer be a part of the Mountain Collective™ Pass. Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic 7-Day Pass and Epic 4-Day Pass give you limited days in the 2019-2020 at both Sun Valley and Snowbasin, depending on the pass.

Is the Vail Resorts Turn In Your Ticket program valid with a Sun Valley or Snowbasin lift ticket?
No, the Vail Resorts Turn In Your Ticket program is only valid with lift tickets at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts. 

Will EpicMix be available at either Sun Valley or Snowbasin?

No, EpicMix is only available at these resorts: Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Crested Butte and Keystone in Colorado; Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada; Park City in Utah; Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in Tahoe; Stowe and Okemo in Vermont; Mount Sunapee in New Hampshire, Afton Alps in Minnesota, Mt. CHANGING OR UPGRADING PRODUCTS

 
If I purchase an Epic 4-Day, Epic 7-Day or Epic Local Pass in the spring and decide I want to upgrade to an Epic Pass later, will I be allowed to change products?
Yes, if you decide to upgrade to an Epic Pass, while passes are still on sale, you can. You will pay the current Epic Pass price at the time of upgrade.
