The following season pass products provide access to the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies:
- Epic Pass™: Epic Pass holders will receive seven days total of skiing or snowboarding at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies with no blackout dates. After the seven days, pass holders can get 50 percent off additional lift tickets at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. - Epic Day Pass™: Epic 4-Day Pass, Epic 5-Day Pass, Epic 6-Day Pass and Epic 7-Day Pass holders will receive up to seven days total of skiing or snowboarding at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies as part of their total days purchased. After the purchased days are used, regardless of the resort at which they were redeemed, pass holders can get 50 percent off additional lift tickets at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies. For Epic Day Pass products with holiday restrictions, blackout dates apply across all resorts. Epic 1-Day Pass, Epic 2-Day Pass and Epic 3-Day Pass holders will not receive access to Resorts of the Canadian Rockies as part of their pass.
Which Resorts of the Canadian Rockies mountains are included on the Epic Pass and Epic Day Pass?
Nakiska Ski Area in Alberta, Fernie Alpine Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in British Columbia and Mont-Sainte Anne and Stoneham in Quebec. Please note, Epic 1-Day Pass, Epic 2-Day Pass and Epic 3-Day Pass holders will not receive access to Resorts of the Canadian Rockies as part of their pass.
Epic Pass or eligible Epic Day Pass products will have direct to lift access at all Resorts of the Canadian Rockies.
No. Epic Day Pass holders will receive in total the number of days purchased of skiing or snowboarding at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies as part of their total days on the pass. Blackout dates will apply for Epic Day Pass products with restrictions.
Yes, the following products also offer the same Resorts of the Canadian Rockies access as the Epic Pass: Lifetime Pass, Trade Epic Pass, Employee Lifetime Pass.
Does the Epic Local Pass have access to the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies?
No, access is only available on the Epic Pass, Epic 4-Day Pass, Epic 5-Day Pass, Epic 6-Day Pass and Epic 7-Day pass (with or without holiday restrictions).
Yes. Once all eligible days have been used on your Epic Pass or Epic Day Pass, pass holders will receive 50 percent off additional lift tickets at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies.
Are there any lodging requirements to receive my seven days at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies?
No, there are no lodging requirements to receive your seven days at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies.
The following passes are eligible to receive a 50% discount on window rate pricing at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts:
RCR West Season Pass holders including; RCR Rockies Pass, Fernie Alpine Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and Kimberley Alpine Resort, includes; unrestricted, full week -daytime, family and individual pass holders.
RCR East Season Pass holders including; Unlimited Double Mountain (Mont Saint-Anne & Stoneham), Unlimited Mont-Saint Anne and Unlimited Stoneham, includes; unrestricted, full week-daytime, family and individual pass holders.
This discount is not valid at Telluride in Colorado; Sun Valley in Idaho; Snowbasin in Utah, Hakuba Valley, Japan; Rusutsu, Japan, Les 3 Vallées in France; 4 Vallées in Switzerland; Skirama Dolomiti in Italy; Arlberg in Austria, or any other resort that is not owned and operated by Vail Resorts.

If I buy my Epic Season Pass online, when can I expect to receive it?
Congrats on your new pass! For first-time Epic Season Pass holders, your pass will be mailed to you 7-14 business days from the time your photo upload is accepted. You may also have your photo taken and pass printed in person at a season pass office at any Vail Resorts owned and operated resort. The release of liability must be completed for your Season Pass to be active.
Yes, bring your Epic Pass confirmation and photo ID to any Resorts of the Canadian Rockies ticket office to redeem a day pass. Vail Resorts season passes can only be printed at a Vail Resorts owned and operated resort. If you have questions about your Epic Pass please call Customer Service at +1-970-754-0005.
Eligible Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Season Pass holders visiting a Vail Resorts owned resort must bring their Season Pass card with photo ID to a Vail Resorts Ticket Office for in person verification prior to purchasing the discounted daily lift ticket.
No. Epic Pass product discounts are only valid at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.
No. The discounts for the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies season pass holders and individual Resort season pass holders are only valid at the eligible Resorts of the Canadian Rockies locations.
Do Epic Pass or Epic Day Pass holders get summer lift access at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies?
No. Epic Pass summer benefits are only valid at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts
No. Summer benefits for Resorts of the Canadian Rockies and individual Resort season pass holders are only valid at the eligible Resorts of the Canadian Rockies locations.
What is the refund policy for Epic Pass and other season pass products?
New for the 2020/21 season, Epic Coverage is included FREE for all pass holders, and provides refunds associated with certain personal events, including illness, job loss, and injury. It also expands coverage to protect you from certain resort closures, such as any due to COVID-19. Please refer to the Epic Coverage Terms and Conditions which are available for viewing or downloading here.
Can I still purchase Pass Insurance?
No, Vail Resorts no longer offers Pass Insurance. Epic Coverage provides refunds for qualifying personal events as well as certain resort closures due to disease (e.g. COVID-19), war, terrorism, or specific natural disasters. And it's free for all pass holders.
The use of your pass at a Partner Resort will count towards the number of days you have used your pass when determining the refund eligibility. Only closures of resorts owned and operated by Vail Resorts are covered by Epic Coverage. Epic Coverage does not provide refunds for any Partner Resort closures. How does the Auto Renew program work?
Auto Renew is the most convenient way to automatically renew your season pass every year, while guaranteeing next season’s lowest price and the best benefits. When you sign-up for Auto Renew you will be charged $49 up front in August and the balance in September. If you sign up for the auto-renew program this season, your pass will automatically renew next year for the 2021-2022 season unless you withdraw from the program before the initial charge.
