ACCESS TO RESORTS OF THE CANADIAN ROCKIES (RCR) ON EPIC SEASON PASS PRODUCTS
 
Which 2018-2019 Epic Season Pass products provide access to skiing and riding at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies?
 
The following season pass products provide access to the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, beginning with the 2018-2019 winter season:
  • Epic Pass: Epic Pass holders will receive seven days total of skiing or snowboarding at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies with no blackout dates, beginning with the 2018-2019 season. The Epic Pass offers full access to Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City in Utah; Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood at Lake Tahoe; Stowe Mountain Resort in Vermont; Afton Alps in Minnesota; Mt. Brighton in Michigan; Wilmot Mountain in Wisconsin; Whistler Blackcomb in Canada; and Perisher in Australia, with no blackout dates. The Epic Pass also features seven days with no blackout dates at Telluride in Colorado; five consecutive days with no blackout dates at Hakuba Valley, Japan; up to six days with no blackout dates at Les 3 Vallées, Paradiski and Tignes-Val D’Isere in France; up to five days with no blackout dates at 4 Vallées in Switzerland; up to three days with no blackout dates at Arlberg in Austria; and up to three days with no blackout dates at Skirama Dolomiti in Italy.

  • Epic 7-Day Pass:  Epic 7-Day Pass holders will receive up to seven days total of skiing or snowboarding at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies with no blackout dates as part of their seven total days on the pass. The Epic 7-Day Pass features a total of seven days with no blackout dates at Whistler Blackcomb, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, Stowe and Arapahoe Basin, seven additional free days at Afton Alps, Mt. Brighton or Wilmot Mountain, plus up to seven days of skiing or snowboarding at Telluride Ski Resort as part of the total seven days on the pass with no blackout dates. 

  • Epic 4-Day Pass:  Epic 4-Day Pass holders will receive up to four days of skiing or snowboarding at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies with no blackout dates as part of their four total days on the pass. The Epic 4-Day pass features a total of four days with no blackout dates at Whistler Blackcomb, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, Stowe and Arapahoe Basin, four additional free days at Afton Alps, Mt. Brighton or Wilmot Mountain, plus up to four days of skiing or snowboarding at Telluride Ski Resort as part of the total four days on the pass with no blackout dates.  
 
 
Where are the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies and what resorts are included in the benefit?
Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. (RCR) is the largest private ski resort owner/operator in North America, owning six ski resorts across Canada including: Nakiska Ski Area in Alberta; Fernie Alpine Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in British Columbia and Mont-Sainte Anne and Stoneham in Quebec. 
 
How do I get access to ski or snowboard at RCR in the 2018-2019 season once I have purchased my Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day or Epic 4-Day Pass?
If you are skiing or snowboarding at any of the RCR resorts, you can go direct-to-lift with your Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day or Epic 4-Day Pass.
 
Are the 4 Days on the Epic 4-Day Pass and 7-Days on the Epic 7 Day Pass in addition to resort access for other resorts on the pass?
No.  Epic 7-Day Pass holders will receive up to seven days of skiing or snowboarding at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies with no blackout dates as part of their seven total days on the pass.  Epic 4-Day Pass holders will receive up to four days of skiing or snowboarding at the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies with no blackout dates as part of their four total days on the pass.
 
Are there any other Vail Resorts season pass products that offer access to RCR? 
Yes, the following products also offer the same RCR access as the Epic Pass: Lifetime Pass, Trade Epic Pass, Employee Lifetime Pass. 
 
Does the Epic Local Pass have access to the RCR?
No, access is only available on the Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, and Epic 4-Day pass.
 
Do I get a discount on lift tickets at RCR resorts once I use all of my days on an Epic, Epic 7-day pass or Epic 4-day pass?
Yes.  Once the seven days have been used on your Epic Pass or Epic 7-Day Pass or the four days have been used on your Epic 4-Pay Pass, pass holders can get 50 percent off additional lift tickets at RCR.
 
Are there any lodging requirements to receive my seven days at the RCR resorts?
No
 
Which 2018-2019 RCR season pass products provide access to Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts? 
The following passes are eligible to receive a 50% discount on window rate pricing at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts: 
RCR West Season Pass holders including; RCR Rockies Pass, Fernie Alpine Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and Kimberley Alpine Resort, includes family and individual passholders.
RCR East Season Pass holders including; Unlimited Double Mountain (Mont Saint-Anne & Stoneham), Unlimited Mont-Saint Anne and Unlimited Stonham, includes family and individual pass holders. 
This discount is not valid at Arapahoe Basin, Telluride in Colorado; Hakuba Valley, Japan; Les 3 Vallées, Paradiski and Tignes-Val D’Isere in France; 4 Vallées in Switzerland; Arlberg in Austria and Skirama Dolomiti in Italy; or any other partnership resort. 
 
Where can I purchase an Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day or Epic 4-Day Pass?
Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, and Epic 4-Day passes for the 2018-19 winter season will go on sale on March 6th at www.epicpass.com.
 
If I buy my season pass online, when can I expect to receive it?
Congrats on your new pass! For first-time Epic Season Pass holders, your pass will be mailed to you 7-10 business days from the time your photo upload is accepted. You may also have your photo taken and pass printed in person at a season pass office at any Vail Resorts owned and operated resort.  The release of liability must be completed for your Season Pass to be active.
 
I purchased my Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, or Epic 4-Day online but have not yet received the actual pass. Can I access RCR? 
Yes, bring your Epic Pass confirmation and photo ID to an RCR resort ticket office to redeem a day pass. The release of liability must have been completed for your Season Pass to be active. If you have questions about your Epic Pass please call Customer Service at 970-754-0005.
 
I have not received my Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day or Epic 4-Day Pass yet. Can I get one printed at an RCR resort?
Vail Resorts season passes can only be printed at a Vail Resorts owned and operated resort. If you have questions about your Epic Pass please call Customer Service at +1-970-754-0005.  

If I have an active Resort of the Canadian Rockies season pass or individual Resort season pass, how do I receive my discounted lift tickets for Vail Resorts owned resorts? 
Eligible RCR Season Pass holders visiting a Vail Resorts owned resort must bring their Season Pass card with identification to a Vail Resorts Ticket Office for in person verification prior to purchasing the discounted daily lift ticket.
 
Do Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, or Epic 4-Day Pass discounts (e.g., discounts on food, etc.) apply at RCR? 
No. Epic Pass product discounts are only valid at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts. 

Do the discount benefits (e.g., discounts on food, etc.) for Resorts of the Canadian Rockies and individual Resort season pass holders apply at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts?
No. The discounts for RCR season pass holders and individual Resort season pass holders are only valid at the eligible RCR locations. 
 
Do Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, or Epic 4-Day Pass holders get summer lift access at RCR resorts? 
No. Epic Pass summer benefits are only valid at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts. 
 
Do Resorts of the Canadian Rockies and individual Resort season pass holders get summer lift access at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts?
No. Summer benefits for RCR and individual Resort season pass holders are only valid at the eligible RCR locations. 
 
What is the refund policy for Epic Pass and other season pass products?
All Vail Resorts season passes are non-transferrable and non-refundable.

How does the season pass insurance work for the Epic Pass and other season pass products?
All season passes are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Season pass refunds are available only when a guest purchased season pass insurance and has a valid claim under the insurance policy. Any refund is based on the cost of the season pass minus a daily rate for every day used up to the face value of the season pass. How does the Auto Renew program work?
Auto Renew is the most convenient way to automatically renew your season pass every year, while guaranteeing next season’s lowest price and the best benefits. When you sign-up for Auto Renew you will be charged $49 up front and the balance in mid-September. If you sign up for the auto-renew program this season, your pass will automatically renew next March for the 2019-2020 season unless you withdraw from the program before the initial charge. I am an Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day or Epic 4-Day Pass holder. Can I use resort charge at an RCR resort?
No, Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, or Epic 4-day resort charge is only available at Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.  
 
What are Buddy Tickets?
Buddy Tickets are discounted, single-day lift tickets set at a flat rate. Not all season passes include Buddy Tickets. If you purchase your Epic Pass by April 15, 2018, you will receive six Buddy Tickets.  The season pass holder must be present at the time of purchase.
 
Are my Buddy Tickets on my Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, or Epic 4-Day valid at an RCR resort?
No. Buddy Tickets are only valid at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts, not at partnership resorts.

What are Ski With A Friend tickets and how many do I receive?
As a valued season pass holder, most season passes will come with six discounted, single- day lift tickets loaded onto your season pass for friends and family to use. Ski With A Friend tickets vary in price based on the date you plan to visit and can be purchased at the lift ticket window. The season pass holder must be present at the time of purchase.
 
Are my Ski With A Friend tickets on my Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, or Epic 4-Day valid at an RCR resort?
No, Epic Pass Ski With A Friend tickets will not be valid for use at an RCR resort. Epic Pass, Epic 7-Day, and Epic 4-day Ski With A Friend tickets are valid at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts.

Does the Epic Pass have Global access to Partner Resorts?
Yes, the Epic Pass includes six days at Les 3 Vallees, Paradiski and Tignes-Val D’Isere in France, three days at Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta in Italy, five consecutive days at 4 Vallees in Switzerland and three consecutive days at Arlberg in Austria. Each resort has requirements that must be met to receive the free access. Is the Vail Resorts Turn In Your Ticket program valid with a Resorts of the Canadian Rockies lift ticket?
No. The Vail Resorts Turn In Your Ticket program is only valid with lift tickets at all Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts. 

Will EpicMix be available at any of the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies?
No. EpicMix is only available at these resorts: Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone in Colorado; Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada; Park City in Utah; Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in Tahoe; Afton Alps in Minnesota and Mt. CHANGING OR UPGRADING PRODUCTS
 
If I purchase an Epic 4-Day, Epic 7-Day or Epic Local Pass in the spring and decide I want to upgrade to an Epic Pass later, will I be allowed to change products?
Yes, if you decide to upgrade to an Epic Pass, while passes are still on sale, you can. You will pay the current Epic Pass price at the time of upgrade.
