Purchasing or Renewing Your Season Pass

The best way to purchase is right here! Click Here to find and purchase the right season pass for you. Guests are encouraged to purchase their season pass as early as possible to get the lowest price and best benefits on your season pass.

Congrats on your new pass! For first time Epic Season Pass holders, your pass will be mailed to you in approximately 7-10 business days from the time your photo upload is accepted.  Alternatively, you may have your photo taken and pass printed in person at a season pass office.  

If you renewed your pass, continue to use the same pass media from last season. Your pass will be activated the day full payment is received.

 

Photo Upload Information:  Our pass and pack products require a photo of each pass holder. If you have had a pass for any past season, you may already have photo on file and do not need to upload a photo at this time. If you do not currently have a photo on file, you can upload your photo online. Sign in to your account to check if you have a photo loaded, for more information on how to upload a photo and to check our pass photo requirements. You cannot replace an existing photo online at this time.

Complete Photo Requirements
•       Image should be in .jpg format
•       Photo must be a square image, rectangular images such as those taken on smart phones will not upload, please crop photo to be square
•       400 x 400 pixels
•       The photo should show a clear, front view, full face of the guest
•       The guest should be in normal attire, without hat or glasses
•       The guest should have a natural expression, and eyes open and looking directly ahead
•       The head of the person being photographed should not be tilted up, down or to the side
•       There should be a strong definition between the face and background
•       The head should be centered in the photo
•       The head should cover about 50% of the area of the photo

No, you will not receive a new pass. Continue to use your pass from the previous year. Your pass will be activated the day your pass is paid in full.
Auto Renew is the most convenient way to automatically renew your Season Pass every year, and is available on most season passes. Auto-renew guarantees next season’s lowest price and the best benefits. When you sign-up for Auto Renew you will be charged $49 up front in mid-March and the balance in mid-September. If you sign up for the auto-renew program this season, your Pass will automatically renew next March for the 2018/19 season unless you withdraw from the program before the initial charge. The remainder of the balance will be charged in mid-September on the same credit card you used for the down payment. The $49 down payment, as well as the balance, is non-refundable.
Restrictions vary based on pass type. The Epic Pass has no restricted dates, but some passes have holiday restrictions. Explore all pass types and blackout dates in our pass finder.
No. Your Epic Season Pass is non-refundable and non-transferable. Season Pass insurance is available and should be purchased with your season pass
Season Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Pass insurance should be purchased at the point of sale. The pass insurance rates on Season Passes are $10-25 per adult pass, and $5-15 per child pass. Pass refunds are available only when a guest has purchased pass insurance and has a valid claim under the insurance policy. Any refund is based on the cost of the pass minus a daily rate for every day used up to the face value of the Season Pass. For more information please visit www.epicpass.com/info/pass-insurance
If you had an Epic Pass last season, but purchased a different Epic product for next season, you will be mailed a new media card for your new pass 7-10 business days after your purchase is accepted. Your old pass will no longer be active.
If you lose your Epic Pass, please go to your local lift ticket window or contact your Season Pass Expert at (970)754-0005. This Customer Service center is open to take your phone calls from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM MDT Monday through Friday.

Season Pass Benefits

Buying early ensures you are locking in the lowest price of the season with the best benefits, including buddy passes on most pass options. Plus, you can pay $49 today and pay the balance in the Fall.
Spring benefits for season passes are valid during the year in which the pass was purchased. Summer access and operating dates varies based on resort. Please click here to visit our benefits page with more details. 

Yes. All Season passes are loaded with discounted tickets for family and friends. The number and type of tickets depends on both the time you purchase, as well as the pass option you purchase.

  • Buddy Tickets: Buy your pass early to receive six discounted lift tickets called Buddy Tickets for your friends and family to use at our ski resorts on most passes. Please refer to pass detail pages to learn about benefits available on the pass option you are looking at. The discount varies throughout the ski season and you must be present to redeem the lift tickets, as they are loaded directly onto your Season Pass.
  • Ski-With-A-Friend Tickets: You also receive Ski-With-A-Friend tickets – these are discounted single day tickets that you can purchase to give to a friend or family member. All Season Pass holders are entitled to 6 Ski-with-a-Friend coupons.  These tickets are automatically loaded onto your pass.  Just take your guest(s) to the ticket window and present your pass to receive the varying discount throughout the season. After you purchase your Season Pass you’ll be sent an email prior to opening day with the instructions about the Ski-With-A-Friend ticket prices. FAMILY QUESTIONS

The Epic Pass lineup offers multiple options that, when packaged together, are the best price to ski this winter. Because season passes offer up to 40% savings off of lift ticket prices, there is no additional discount for families.
Yes. You can buy an Epic Season Pass for children aged 5-12.
Yes, kids 4 and under will continue to receive free lift access when accompanied by an adult. The 4 and under pass goes on sale during Labor Day Weekend prior to the ski season. To be eligible for this pass for the season, the child must be 4 years old at time of purchase. If the child turns 5 after Labor Day through the ski season, they are still eligible for this pass. To receive this ticket/pass, you must redeem at any Vail Resorts owned-and-operated ticket window, and the child must be accompanied by an adult on-mountain at all times.

No. We wanted to keep the Epic Season Pass as simple and straightforward as possible by making it unlimited, unrestricted, and the same price for all adults. 

We do offer other Senior Passes:

  • Senior (65-74) Unlimited, unrestricted skiing at Whistler Blackcomb with an Unlimited Season Pass OR 5 or 10 Day EDGE Card (super seniors can get these edge cards too, there just isn’t a separate category for them).
  • Super Senior (75+) Unlimited, unrestricted skiing at Whistler Blackcomb with an Unlimited Season Pass.
