Purchasing or Renewing Your Season Pass

The best way to purchase is right here! Click Here to find and purchase the right season pass for you. Guests are encouraged to purchase their season pass as early as possible to get the lowest price and best benefits on your season pass.

Congrats on your new pass! For first time Epic Season Pass holders, your pass will be mailed as soon as possible after your photo upload is accepted, reviewed, and processed. Alternatively, you may have your photo taken and pass printed in person at a season pass office.

If you renewed the same pass product, continue to use the same pass media from last season. Your pass will be activated the day full payment is received. If you purchased a different Epic pass product, a new media card will be mailed to you.

Photo Upload Information:  Our pass and pack products require a photo of each pass holder. If you have had a pass for any past season, you may already have photo on file and do not need to upload a photo at this time. If you do not currently have a photo on file, you can upload your photo online. Sign in to your account to check if you have a photo loaded, for more information on how to upload a photo and to check our pass photo requirements. You cannot replace an existing photo online at this time.

Complete Photo Requirements
•       Image should be in .jpg format
•       Photo must be a square image, rectangular images such as those taken on smart phones will not upload, please crop photo to be square
•       400 x 400 pixels
•       The photo should show a clear, front view, full face of the guest
•       The guest should be in normal attire, without hat or glasses
•       The guest should have a natural expression, and eyes open and looking directly ahead
•       The head of the person being photographed should not be tilted up, down or to the side
•       There should be a strong definition between the face and background
•       The head should be centered in the photo
•       The head should cover about 50% of the area of the photo

No, you will not receive a new pass. Continue to use your pass from the previous year. Your pass will be activated the day your pass is paid in full and you sign your release of liability in My Account.

Auto Renew is the most convenient way to automatically renew your season pass every year, and is available on most season passes. Auto-renew guarantees next season’s lowest price and the best benefits. When you sign-up for Auto Renew you will be charged $49 down in mid-March and the balance in mid-September. If you sign up for the auto-renew program this season, your pass will automatically renew next March for the 2021/22 season unless you withdraw from the program before the initial charge. The remainder of the balance will be charged in early November on the same credit card used for the down payment. The $49 down payment, as well as the balance, is non-refundable. 

$49 DOWN AGREEMENT

BY MAKING THIS INITIAL PAYMENT OF $49, I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM COMMITTING TO BUY THE PASS(ES) FOR THE 2020/2021 SEASON. I UNDERSTAND THIS $49 PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. I agree the credit card provided will be authorized for the remaining amount of the Season Pass product purchased. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to my credit card on or around early November. Once the $49 initial payment has been made, the $49 initial payment cannot be cancelled or refunded, nor can the pass purchase be cancelled or refunded. In the event the total price of the Season Pass product is lowered prior to the start of the 2020/2021 ski season, the remaining amount due will be reduced by the amount of the total price lowered. I agree to provide a valid email address for the express purpose of receiving communications regarding this transaction.

No, all season pass products are non-refundable and non-transferable. Season pass insurance is available for purchase. More information is available here.

Epic Coverage is free with all pass products and provides a refund if you have an eligible injury, job loss, or experience other personal events that prevent you from using your pass. Epic Coverage also provides a refund for certain resort closures, including events like COVID-19. Visit Epic Coverage to learn more.

If you purchased a different Epic pass product, a new media card will be mailed to you.
If you lose your Epic Pass, please go to your local lift ticket window or contact your Season Pass Expert at (970) 754-0005. This Customer Service center is open to take your phone calls from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM MDT Monday through Friday.

Epic Mountain Rewards is a new pass holder loyalty program launching for the 2020-21 season. Epic Mountain Rewards gives pass holders a discount of 20% off food and beverage, lodging, group ski and ride school lessons, equipment rentals, Epic Mountain Express transportation, guided Cat Skiing Tours in Keystone and Heli-Skiing packages in Whistler Blackcomb. Additionally, as part of Epic Mountain Rewards, pass holders can redeem one free wax and 50% off one basic tune per season at select U.S. locations. Epic Mountain Rewards is available to anyone who purchases an Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic Day Pass, Epic Military Pass, Epic Australia Pass, and many of the Company’s other regional season pass products, including: Summit Value, Keystone Plus Pass, Tahoe Local Pass, Tahoe Value Pass, Kirkwood Pass, Park City Youth Pass, Afton Alps Pass, Afton Alps College Night Pass, Mt Brighton Pass, Mt Brighton College Night Pass, Wilmot Pass, 65+ Keystone Breck Pass, Senior 70+ 10 Day Pass, Stevens Pass Select Pass, Stevens Pass Premium Pass, Crested Butte Pass, Northeast Value Pass, Northeast Midweek Value Pass, Ohio Pass, Hidden Valley Pass, Snow Creek Pass and Paoli Peaks Pass regardless of whether a guest plans to ski one day or every day of the season. This new loyalty program is simple for the guest –no sign up, no point tracking, and no blackout days for the discounts. Pass holders can receive the 20% savings by presenting their pass at the register, logging into their account to book online, or by verifying their pass number when calling our reservation center at (800) 404-3535. In addition to the significant discount already offered by purchasing a pass product (up to 65% off as compared to lift tickets), a family of four can now save hundreds of dollars per day on food, lodging, lessons, rentals, transportation, and mountain activities.     • Guided Cat Skiing Tours: Pass holders can book Guided Cat Skiing Tours in Keystone by calling 1-970-496-4386 or in-person. Pass holders must present your pass at the register or verify their pass number when calling. Please have your valid Pass Holder number available for booking and at check in.     • Heli Skiing: Pass holders can book single day Whistler Heli-Skiing Packages online, over the phone by calling 1-888-435-4754, or in-person. The 20% discount is only valid on single day packages if booked before December 18, 2020. The Semi-Private, Private, and Bucket list experience packages are not included with the discount. Pass holders must present their pass at the register, log in to their account to book online, or verify their pass number when calling and at check in.
  • 20% off Epic Mountain Express: Discount is available on shuttles from Denver International Airport and Eagle County (Vail) Regional Airport to the mountain resorts of Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail and Beaver Creek.   • 1 Free Wax and 50% off Tune: Discount is available at select US locations on one free basic wax and one 50% off basic tune per season. The specific discount varies by location.
    • Colorado: Available on one free basic wax and 50% off one basic tune at the Epic Mountain Gear locations
    • California: Available on one free basic wax and 50% off a basic tune at Any Mountain locations
    • Utah: Available on one 50% off basic tune at Legacy Sports Rentals and Repair or at Canyon Mountain Rentals and Repair.
    • Vermont: Stowe: Receive, 10% off all tuning services at Stay Tuned & Mansfield Tuning (excludes Season Tune).
    • Minnesota: Afton Alps: Available on one 50% off basic tune at Hoigaard’s and 20% off with some exclusions (straight labor and hand tunes) at Afton Alps Ski Shop
    • Michigan: Mt. Brighton: 20% off Mt. Brighton Chairlift Ski Shop (winter only). Including tune and repair services. Sale items are excluded.

Yes, summer benefits remain unchanged for guests who purchase their 2020-2021 season pass in the Spring. Summer benefits include free lift access as well as discount on lodging, food and beverage, and activities. For more details please click here. Yes, as a valued pass holder, you get discounted tickets loaded onto your pass* for friends and family.

Buddy Tickets are discounted, single day lift tickets set at a flat price for family and friends. Buddy Tickets are only available for guests who purchase a season pass in the spring. Ski-with-a-Friend (SWAF) Tickets are discounted, single day lift tickets that vary in price based on the daily window ticket price.

Buddy and Ski-with-a-Friend-Tickets are both redeemable online, making sharing with family and friends easier than ever. The Season Pass holder must be present at the time of purchase. Click here for more details.

*Not all pass products come with Buddy or Ski-With-A-Friend Tickets. Buddy and Ski-with-a-Friend tickets are not valid at Perisher, Falls Creek or Hotham in Australia. The Epic Australia Pass does not receive SWAF/Buddy Tickets.

Yes. You can buy an Epic Season Pass for children aged 5-12.

Yes, kids 4 and under receive free lift access with the 4 and Under Epic Pass. The 4 and Under Epic Pass is available starting Labor Day Weekend prior to the ski season. To be eligible for this pass, the child must be 4 years old or under at time of purchase. If the child turns 5 after Labor Day through the ski season, they are still eligible for this pass. To receive this pass, you must redeem at any Vail Resorts owned-and-operated ticket window. The child must be accompanied by an adult on-mountain at all times.

No. The Epic Pass offers the same unlimited, unrestricted access at the same price for all adults.
