What is Epic Mountain Rewards?

Epic Mountain Rewards is a new pass holder loyalty program launching for the 2020-21 season. Epic Mountain Rewards gives pass holders a discount of 20% off food and beverage, lodging, group ski and ride school lessons, equipment rentals, Epic Mountain Express transportation, guided Cat Skiing Tours in Keystone and Heli-Skiing packages in Whistler Blackcomb. Additionally, as part of Epic Mountain Rewards, pass holders can redeem one free wax and 50% off one basic tune per season at select U.S. locations. Epic Mountain Rewards is available to anyone who purchases an Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic Day Pass, Epic Military Pass, Epic Australia Pass, and many of the Company’s other regional season pass products, including: Summit Value, Keystone Plus Pass, Tahoe Local Pass, Tahoe Value Pass, Kirkwood Pass, Park City Youth Pass, Afton Alps Pass, Afton Alps College Night Pass, Mt Brighton Pass, Mt Brighton College Night Pass, Wilmot Pass, 65+ Keystone Breck Pass, Senior 70+ 10 Day Pass, Stevens Pass Select Pass, Stevens Pass Premium Pass, Crested Butte Pass, Northeast Value Pass, Northeast Midweek Value Pass, Ohio Pass, Hidden Valley Pass, Snow Creek Pass and Paoli Peaks Pass regardless of whether a guest plans to ski one day or every day of the season. The discounts go into effect on October 1st, 2020 for the 2020-21 season.

This new loyalty program is simple for the guest –no sign up, no point tracking, and no blackout days for the discounts. Pass holders can receive the 20% savings by presenting their pass at the register, logging into their account to book online, or by verifying their pass number when calling our reservation center at (800) 404-3535. In addition to the significant discount already offered by purchasing a pass product (up to 65% off as compared to lift tickets), a family of four can now save hundreds of dollars per day on food, lodging, lessons, rentals, transportation, and mountain activities. Q: How do I redeem my credit for my 2020/21 Pass with the Auto Renew program?

A: You will receive your individual credit by email on May 13, 2020 (or May 21, 2020 for our Peak Resorts pass holders), which will include your eligible promotional code. At this time, you will receive additional direction on how to apply your credit. Your credit, if any, will apply to your final payment in September. If you would like to change your pass product, you may do so by calling our pass experts at 970-754-0005 or emailing at seasonpass@vailresorts.com before September 5, 2020. Please be prepared to provide your promotional code to the agent.

Q: If I have purchased two products, which product will Auto Renew?

A: The product you most recently purchased will Auto Renew for the 2020/21 Season.

Q: If I purchased two pass products during the 19/20 season and am receiving a credit on both products, can I use both credits for my Auto Renew product purchase?

A: No, only the credit that applies to the product enrolled in the Auto Renew program can be used at the time of final payment. 

Q: I elected to purchase Pass Insurance when I opted-in for the Auto Renew program.  Will I still be responsible for paying for Pass Insurance?

A: No, you will not be charged for Pass Insurance. Instead, Epic Coverage will be included with your pass purchase at no charge. Epic Coverage is free for all pass holders and provides protection across a range of personal events and certain resort closures.
